I bought a pair of steel toes and wore them for, at most, 2 hours, the shock absorbing capabilities of these boots were horrendous and left my feet and back sore. Rather than drop 20$ on a pair of dr. scholls, i wanted to return them and get boots with gel insoles.
The return policies state that:
You can't return any footwear after wearing them, this is the problem. What if something goes wrong with your shoes and you find out that the store doesn't care.

From Appleton and needed proper fitting for running as I was starting to have issues and was curious if the shoes were causing the issues. On our way home from up north decided to stop. Impressed that their board certified foot person..can't remember what they are called...was involved along with the salesperson and she seemed very concerned that I got the right shoe. Even though I had used a running store in past that claims to "fit" you in proper shoes...my old shoes had way too much support and a full size shorter. Bought my new shoes and feel a noticeable difference in my running. Will travel back for my next pair.
Shippy Shoes has a great selection, outstanding customer service , and a pedorthist at the store. Can't beat this place for shoes!
