The guy running the place must think everyone else is stupid trying to more than double overcharge for simple tasks! I would highly recommend that nobody goes there for any work on their vehicle, towing, storage, or any other service provided by Kent. He walked around in daze it seemed, not knowing what he was even doing!
We bought a plow from him and he never put the pins in - resulting in damage. All in all, just be aware of what you may be getting yourself into.
Kent's towing charged double what the law allows for towing and asserted that his business does not abide by legal standards. He continually used the word "retarded" when referring to himself and acted in a manner that was unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if possible.
When we mentioned that we were told $35 over the phone he came back with "they must've told me the wrong price" trying to transfer the blame. Additionally he asked for a $10 freight charge - this service was a joke.
When calling in to confirm verbal cost of parts be aware that the price may change - we ordered parts that were supposed to be $35 each and drove to the place after the order was in and were told almost $60 each!
They towed my car from my apartment Deb though they weren't supposed to and then asked for $300 for me to get my car back! The guy told me it was "my lucky day" and that they would wave the tow fee if I signed the car over to them and they let me take stuff out of it. Then he had the nerve to tell me he'd be happy to work on my new car in the future! What a jerk!
