This woman took 2 hours on my hair . if i could give her 0 stars, i would . i asked her to completely remove the brown that i had under my hair, and she continued to do her own thing and just did sparse highlights in it .. then i asked for regular blonde highlights and she did them, but left them in for 5 minutes. so nothing even happened, it looks the same !! when she washed it out she got coloring in my eye and didn’t apologize, and she didn’t even part my hair. she half-ass blow dried it and sent me on my way after asking for $100. mind you , i am only 16, so i thought that was okay. terrible place. don’t waste your money.

I would like to respond to Alexander. First, let me say that I have been getting my hair done at Corine's for many years. I go there because she has a "good eye" for what looks right and knows the right products/tools needed to get that look for my hair type. She maybe isn't unique in this as a salon owner, but I have not yet run across anyone with the same level of talent that she has.
In regards to your particular situation, I was not there so I can only assume that what you say was true that day. If you felt slighted, I am sorry for that, but I sincerely doubt that there was any racial undertones. In over 30 years that I have known her she has never said anything remotely racist to my knowledge. On the contrary, she has many wonderful multi-racial friendships!

Corine has been cutting my hair for over twenty years. I don't live in Stevens Point but consistently the best haircuts received in my life are at Corine's. Whenever I am in town I make sure to get my hair cut there. It is by far the best haircut in central Wisconsin.
All I can say regarding the coughing, is that I know from my own experience working with the public that there is a bit of a tendency to have more than a little paranoia when it comes to germs. (That's why schools and hospitals have hand sanitizers so readily available now.) No one wants to get sick, especially when your livelihood depends on showing up for work. It's true that Corine does not work Saturday through Monday. However, I know she works many 10-12 hour days Tuesday through Friday. I cannot speak to the tone of conversation or the "tension in the air" which you felt, but is it possible that there was a misunderstanding regarding your asthma? It sounds like the elderly lady witnessing this agreed with Corine. I am sorry that this happened (for everyone's sake) and hope that you will be able to "move on" and possibly find a way to control the coughing. Sincerely, Linda
